Leaving Fahim at Raub..
|

Fahim turned 7 months last Saturday, 7th July.
Friday, 6th July
On his 7 months, Fahim has had a long journey back to Raub, my husband's hometown on Friday evening. We arrived approx. at 11 p.m.
Saturday, 7th July
The next morning we headed to Johor to send my brother in-law to Politeknik Johor which is situated somewhere in Masai, Pasir Gudang. Alhamdulillah Fahim was calm and behaved very well throughout the trip, once in a while he had a good sleep on my mother-in-law's lap. We managed to locate the politek at 7 p.m and found a hotel to stay for the night.
Sunday, 8th July
The following day, we went to Politek for registration and finished around 11 a.m. Then we started our journey back to Raub. What a long and tiring day for all of us with the hot wheather and long queue during the toll. Poor Fahim sampai hangus muka dia  but thank God he did'nt even cried or 'mengamok' so our journey went smoothly.
Monday, 9th July
My mom and dad were on their way to KLIA from KB to fetch my youngest sister Ena. She came back from Rusia for a 1 month break here .So they stopped by for lunch at my parents in law's house. Later they continued their journey while my hubby was busy up loading durians,bananas and salak into our car. We're heading back to KB and had to leave FAHIM here!  Fahim will stay at Raub until Thursday. My parents and Ena will fetch Fahim on their way back to KB. Hmm so sad terpaksa berpisah ngan Fahim sob sob  So we started our journey back at 3 p.m. Later we stopped by at Eny's house at K.Krai to give them some durians and other fruits. We reached home at 10 p.m.

Non-baked cheesecake--very easy to make!

Last friday, Eny came over for the weekend and asked me to make cheesecake since she has not tried mine before. Actually I got this recipe from my officemate. We used to make it in our office pantry where we share the money to buy the ingredients. It's cheaper this way and we can each bring back 1 bekas.
( kena double the measure la) Here's the recipe :
Bahan-bahan:
250 gm cream cheese
250ml whipping cream
1 tin kecil susu pekat
2 sudu bsr gelatin-->i bought yg halal kt KB Mall ( dicairkan dgn 5 sudu bsr air panas)
1 tin cocktail buah2an ( ikut suke nk yg peach saje pun ok)
1 peket jelly ape2 perisa
1 kek gulung (vanila@pandan sesuai)
Cara2nya:
1) Cream cheese dipukul hingga sebati. Kemudian masukkan susu pekat sedikit demi sedikit n dipukul hingga sebati.
2) Dlm mangkuk lain pula, pukul whipping cream sehingga menjadi pekat dan berkrim. Kemudian masukkan gelatin n pukul hingga sebati.
3) Kemudian, campurkan bahan (1) ke dlm bahan (2) dan pukul sehingga sebati.
4) Sementara itu, di dalam bekas lain, aturkan kek gulung yg tlh dihiris bulat2. Tuangkan adunan tadi ke ats kek.
5) Sejukkan dlm peti ais biar permukaan atas keras sedikit(dlm 1/2 jam)
6) Selepas itu, hiaskan di atas permukaan dgn buah2an
7) Panaskan jelly dan tuang atas buah2 td. Kemudian blh masuk dlm peti ais sehingga jelly keras sedikit.
Inilah dia cheesecake yg siap untuk dihidangkan

A visit to Eny's @ Cik Lang's house
|
|
Last Saturday, the four of us, me, Fahim, mama n abah went to Eny's house(my twin) at Kuala Krai. Eny's husband went to Negeri Sembilan for 5 days (my hubby was also not around)so we decided to visit Eny and checked her out with her boys. After all mama and abah were longing to see their other grandsons, Abdul Muiz and Abdul Afuww. Hmm probably next time I'll take Eny's pic coz at that time she's not ready hehe..

Gambar2 ni mase Fahim tgh praktis nak duduk straight..mula2 tu dia mcm takut gak tp lama2 ok..mase tu pinggang dia x berapa kuat lg..skrg ni dh ok boleh dok lama2 cume kena standby la takut terlentang ke belakang lak maunya nangis satu taman boleh dgr!

How fast the time flies..

It has been 12 days that my hubby went to Kemaman for his induksi course. I guess when he returns home this thursday, he will be suprise to see how fast Fahim has grown and now able to use the walker and sit down properly.

Fahim's 2nd tooth coming out

When I came back from Bukit Merah, it has been 3 days that I haven't seen my precious Fahim. So I started to take pictures of him and noticed that his 2nd tooth is showing off already. Only today that I have time to upload the pictures.

On 19-21st June, my colleagues and I were invited to be the speakers for a workshop called Better Spoken English and Penulisan Surat Rasmi. The participants were USM staff from various departments.
This was actually my 1st experience as a speaker in a workshop so I was quite nervous. Well teaching university students is different from teaching adults where some of them are even older than you. So I don't know what to expect and how I can get their attention. Luckily all of us got ready with the materials before we went to Bukit Merah.
My turn was on the 2nd day (20/6), so I arrived early in the morning at 8 a.m. My session started at 8.30 and end at 10.30 a.m. Hmm when the mike was given to me to start my talk, I wasn't that nervous at all! Well at least in the first two sentences but eventually I regain my control and relax throughout the session. The participants were great,they gave their co-operation during the activities and lessons.
Well I feel grateful that I was given a chance to be part of this workshop. I was reluctant at first because I wasn't confident moreover I don't have any experience at all whereas my colleagues are used to this kind of stuff. But I started to think that there is always a 1st time for everything and that we should give a try to know it. I'm glad that I tried!
